The Beginning

Few people choose a pawnshop. They go to one when money gets tight, and they are glad to leave once the item is back home. For a business, that is a hard shape to grow from: a customer who is served once and never thinks of you again.

Natha Gadai is new, with no old name to lean on, so coming back cannot be left to chance. The app has to give people a reason. That is the job of Rewards, an extra feature built as a loyalty program around three ideas: levels, points and missions.

The question

Why would anyone come back to a pawnshop they hope not to need?

A loyalty program is easy to build and easy to ignore. For ours to work, it has to answer four things a customer quietly asks.

  1. 01

    Where do I stand?

A level that shows progress, and how far the next one is.

  2. 02

    What do my points buy?

Points matter only if the prize is clear and close.

  3. 03

    How do I earn more?

Small tasks, not only big transactions.

  4. 04

    What do I already have?

The vouchers I own, and how I got them.

So the design question became

How do we make coming back feel like progress?

The Journey

The solution

Rewards turns every visit and every small action into progress. Customers earn points by pawning, extending a pawn and finishing missions. Points lift them through three levels, Silver, Gold and Platinum, and buy vouchers they can use or enjoy.

  1. 1

    Act

Pawn, extend, or finish a mission.

  2. 2

    Earn points

Every action adds to the balance.

  3. 3

    Climb

More points, a higher level, more benefits.

  4. 4

    Redeem

    Points become vouchers and gifts.

and every step brings the customer back to the app

The unique value

A program where every action moves you forward.

Poin & Loyalitas: the customer's level and points on top, with Tukar Poin and Misi below
  1. A level you can see

A badge sits on the card: Silver, Gold or Platinum. It is a status worth keeping, and there is always a next one to reach.

  2. Points with a purpose

The balance sits beside a shortcut to the vouchers the customer already owns. Points are never just a number, they lead somewhere.

  3. One screen to spend, one to earn

Tukar Poin lists what points can buy, with the cost on every row. Misi lists tasks that earn more. Spending and earning are one tap apart.

Levels you can feel

The card changes as the customer climbs, so a level up is felt as well as stated. The level follows the points: Silver below 75.000, Gold above 75.000 and Platinum above 125.000.

Silver< 75.000 poin
The Rewards card at Gold level with 82.000 points
Gold> 75.000 poin
The Rewards card at Platinum level with 133.000 points
Platinum> 125.000 poin

Around the loop

Smaller decisions keep the program clear and the rewards within reach.

  1. 01

    Right on the Profile

Level and points show on the Profile card.

  2. 02

    Learn it once

An info page explains the steps, the benefits per level and how to earn.

  3. 03

    See what’s next

A progress card shows the points left to the next level.

  4. 04

    Confirm before spending

Claiming a voucher says how many points it uses.

  5. 05

    Redeem a promo code

A code from outside joins the same voucher list.

  6. 06

    Keep a history

Redeemed vouchers and finished missions, listed.

  7. 07

    No dead ends

Empty and error states say what happened and what to do.

The Design

Every journey below plays by itself, straight from the final screens. When one journey ends, the next begins. Pick a journey to watch it, pause to look closer, or jump to any step.

    The Ending

In the end, Natha Gadai became something to return to, not only a tool for one emergency.

A customer now knows their level, what to do to climb, what their points buy and what they already own. Each visit, each extension and each small mission adds to something they would rather not lose.

    Without Rewards

    With Rewards

    The reason to return

The item is home and the story ends

    →

A level to keep and points waiting

    Small actions

    They count for nothing

    →

    Missions turn them into points

    The thank-you

    None beyond the service

    →

    Vouchers worth claiming

Loyalty is not a discount. It is a reason to open the app once more.
